Getting started
When is Ondami available in my city?
We open city by city so there are always enough people near you for a video date. Join the waitlist for your city on the home page. Cities with the most signups open first, and we'll email you when yours opens.
Who can join?
Adults 18 and over who pass our ID and selfie check. One account per person.
Why do I have to verify my ID?
So everyone you meet is a real, verified adult, and people we've banned can't come back under a new email. Your ID images are deleted after the check. You keep a credential that proves you're verified.
How do intros work?
Each day you get 5 intros (8 with Plus): people near you, each with a 30-second video. Like or pass. New intros arrive every morning.
Video dates
What happens on a video date?
When you both like each other, you meet on a 3-minute video call. Afterwards you each choose privately to keep talking or pass. Chat opens only if you both say yes, and neither of you sees who passed.
What are Live Hours?
Thursdays and Sundays, 8 to 10 pm local time. Most people in your city are online then, so you can go from match to video date in minutes. You can also schedule a date at another time.
Are video dates recorded?
No. Live video dates are never recorded or stored by Ondami.
What is Comfort View?
Comfort View blurs nudity on your screen during video dates. It runs on your device and is on by default. You can turn it off anytime in settings.
Safety and privacy
Who can see my intro video?
Only verified members. It's never public on the web.
How do I report someone?
Tap Report on their profile, during a call, or in chat. Serious reports suspend the account while our team reviews them, within 24 hours. You can also email safety@ondami.com. Visit the Safety Center for more.
Can Ondami read my messages?
No. Chats are end-to-end encrypted, so only you and your match can read them. If you report a conversation, you choose which messages to share with us.
Does Ondami sell my data or show ads?
No. Ondami has no ads and never sells your data. See our Privacy Policy.
Plus
What does Plus include?
8 intros a day, see who liked you, one rewind a day, and 10-minute video dates. Prices are set in local currency in each country.
How do I cancel Plus?
Cancel in the app store you subscribed through (Apple or Google), or in Settings on the web. You keep Plus until the end of the period you've paid for.
Your account
Can I download my data?
Yes. In the app, go to You, then Download my data.
How do I delete my account?
Go to You, then Delete my account. Everything is removed within 30 days. If you subscribed through an app store, cancel the subscription there too.
